Job responsibilities:
- Respond to IT support requests from employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner, either remotely or on-site.
- Install, configure, and upgrade computer hardware and software as needed.
- Monitor and maintain network performance, ensuring smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Implement security measures to protect the network from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Maintain an inventory of IT equipment, including computers, peripherals, and software licenses.
- Develop and deliver training sessions to educate employees on IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends relevant to the organization's IT infrastructure and operations.
- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and security of IT systems and processes.
Skills required:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Tier 1 IT support or a related role.
- Proficiency in Windows OS and Servers, LAN/WAN, TCP/IP routing and switching, VPN technologies, Firewalls, Routers and Switches, and O365 Apps.
- Advanced level of English
